Remove Backgrounds from Photos without Photoshop
Draw a rough boundary around the image that you want to separate from the background and you will notice that "Smart Scissors" magically snaps the curves to the nearest edge (see screenshot on the right).
Once satisfied with the selection, click "Create Cutout" and you’re done.
You can use this free FotoFlexer service to extract picture of a particular person from some group photograph or you want to merge two photos - cut a portion from the first image using Smart Scissors and place in over the second picture.
The cutouts can be saved as JPGs or a PNG so I guess it maintains the transparency as

Windows Live SkyDrive
De opslag van de online opslagdienst van Microsoft, Windows Live SkyDrive is vergroot van 1 GB naar 5 GB. Verder is SkyDrive nu officieel uit de betafase gehaald en gaat door als een volwassen dienst.

Vista wijst automatisch sneltoetsen toe aan de pictogrammen in de werkbalk Snel Starten, zodat u uw favoriete programma’s nog eenvoudiger kunt openen. Die sneltoets is in principe de Windows-toets plus een getal, dus in ons voorbeeld drukt u op Windows + 1 voor uw bureaublad, Windows + 2 voor Flip 3D, Windows + 3 voor Internet Explorer, enzovoort. Let op: dit werkt alleen voor de eerste 10 items in uw werkbalk Snel Starten (met Windows + 0 opent u het tiende item).

TwonkyVision
How does it work?
The TwonkyMedia can scan your hard drivefor music, picture and video content. It automatically extracts the available metadata. For WAV files a file naming schema is supported, which enables you to provide information about the title, album and artist of the music track.
The TwonkyMedia is integrated with existing media management tools like Winamp, iTunes and Photoshop Album. It utilizes the metadata libraries of these tools. Playlists created with Winamp or the Windows Media Player can be imported by the MediaServer as well.
For client devices that do not directly support Internet radio, the TwonkyMedia acts as a proxy and translates Internet radio stations. For these clients each radio station is interpreted as one never-ending MP3 song that can be selected and played like a locally available piece of music.
From the avialable metadata TwonkyMedia automatically creates a navigation tree.
Navigation on music collections
TwonkyMedia provides you with a much more flexible navigation structure than any other media server. Most media servers just organize your music according to your own folder structure and some organize your tracks into the categories artist, album, genre, and all tracks. TwonkyMedia provides you by default with further navigation levels including categories like genre/artist, artist/album, year/album, year/artist, and alpha/artist. Alpha group search is convenient when your client device only has a small display.
Twonkymedia handles compilations separately, so that it does not create separate artist entries for each song of a compilation.
Pictures and Videos
For picturesTwonkyMedia supports inbuilt transcoding of all kinds of requested picture sizes and picture formats, for example, transcoding of JPEG pictures to YUV for the Sony clients. Pictures are initially poor on metadata, but you may use Adobe Photoshop Album to add descriptions and apply your own set of tags. TwonkyMedia imports descriptions and tag information from this application and utilizes it to build your personalized navigation structure based on your tags. If there are no tags provided for your pictures, TwonkyMedia will use the folder view, which is also used for video content.

Het verschijnsel gevoelstemperatuur, of wind chill, is dat het in de wind een stuk kouder aanvoelt dan uit de wind.
Hieronder een overzicht van gevoelstemperatuur onder invloed van wind. Voorbeeld: iemand die met ongeveer 5 kilometer per uur loopt zal -4 graden Celsius bij windkracht 5 ervaren als -12 graden Celsius; oftewel die persoon wordt afgekoeld door de wind alsof het -12 graden Celsius is in plaats van -4 graden Celsius.

Wat is nou dat Steady State?het is niets meer of minder dan een beheersprogramma waarmee je andere accounts kunt aanpassen.Wat dacht je van de tijd op de pc beperken of er voor zorgen dat na het opstarten alles er net zo weer uitziet als voor de start?Internet Explorer blokkeren, het kan allemaal!Het is door microsoft zelf ontworpen en is down te loaden als je een geldig exemplaar van XP hebt! Of Windows Vista. (Bèta)Het is beslist een handig programma als je kinderen hebt die nog wel eens rommelen op de pc, zo kun je het configuratie scherm vergrendelen.Lees meer op de bijgevoegde link, gelukkig geheel Nederlands!
zorg dat je PC vooraf goed schoon en op orde is, immers na een herstart zal hij weer in die staat opstarten.

Hide Your Web Images From Normal View with a Text Layer
When people open a web page containing an hidden image, all they see is some plain text - the actual picture is revealed only when they select the entire text with a mouse. See example above.
Your image is first converted into (colored) but rendered on the web page as black text with a white background. Now when you highlight a selection, they change the background color using some CSS property and that reveals the image.

Start / Uitvoeren
Start de Policyeditor door middel van Start / Uitvoeren en tik hier gpedit.msc gevolgd door een Enter.
Open in het linkerscherm achtereenvolgens Computerconfiguratie (deze is meestal al open) / Beheersjablonen / Netwerk en klik op Qos-pakketplanner.
In het rechterscherm staan nu meerdere opties waaronder De reserveerbare bandbreedte beperken. Dubbelklik hierop en zet een bolletje bij Ingeschakeld
Daarna vult u bij Bandbreedtelimiet een nul in.
Deze nul staat voor onbeperkt. Kies vervolgens voor Toepassen. Ga nu via Configuratiescherm naar Netwerkverbindingen en kies voor de internetverbinding waar het om gaat. Kies voor Eigenschappen en kijk op het tabblad Netwerk of Algemeen (afhankelijk van soort verbinding) of de Service Qos-pakketplanner aanwezig is en of er een vinkje bij staat. Is deze niet aanwezig kies dan voor Installeren en selecteer in het volgende scherm Service en kies Toevoegen. Daarna is de Service Qos-pakketplanner uit een lijstje te kiezen en drukt u op OK. Weer even controleren of het vinkje aanwezig is en dan surft u weer sneller dan voorheen.

Windows SteadyState
Windows SteadyState gebruiken in een thuissituatie
Ouders kunnen met Windows SteadyState het computergedrag van hun kinderen in de hand houden. Zo kan de toegang tot het internet nauwkeurig worden gereguleerd. Elk kind kan zijn eigen toegangsniveau krijgen. In gevallen waarin een computer zowel door de ouders als de kinderen wordt gebruikt, kunnen de verschillende configuraties, programma's en bestanden voor de ouders volledig geïsoleerd worden van die van de kinderen."
Andere toepassingen van Windows SteadyState
Iedereen die regelmatig programma's op een computer installeert en weer verwijdert, kan Windows SteadyState goed gebruiken. Als de functie Disk Protection is ingeschakeld wanneer een nieuw programma wordt geïnstalleerd, vormen eventuele problemen die ontstaan na de installatie nooit lang een probleem. Programma's die niet goed werken, kunnen dan namelijk met het herstarten van de pc automatisch weer verwijderd.

De E6850 heeft een kloksnelheid van 3GHz en een fsb die zijn werkt doet op 1333MHz. Hiermee is het zonder twijfel de snelste dualcoreprocessor die momenteel verkrijgbaar is en is daarnaast met een prijs van ruim € 200,- goed betaalbaar.
In januari zal Intel de nieuwe generatie Core 2 Duo-cpu’s introduceren, gebaseerd op de 45nm Wolfdale-core. Deze processors bieden onder andere nieuwe sse4-instructies en 6MB cachegeheugen waardoor ze op gelijke kloksnelheid beter presteren dan de huidige generatie. Als het mogelijk is, is het dus aan te bevelen het systeem uit te rusten met een Core 2 Duo E8400 of E8500. Voorlopig zijn deze cpu’s echter nog niet leverbaar.

Natalee Holloway
Joran van der Sloot wordt vrijdag
1feb 2008nog overgevlogen naar Aruba. Justitie op het eiland heeft bewijsmateriaal gevonden waaruit zou blijken dat de Nederlander toch betrokken was bij de dood van het Amerikaanse meisje Natalee Holloway.
Van der Sloot (20) werd woensdag in Nederland opnieuw gearresteerd. Zijn aanhouding in zijn woning in Arnhem volgde op een verzoek van het Arubaanse Openbaar Ministerie.
Na een intensief rechercheonderzoek met ondersteuning vanuit Nederland van het Korps Landelijke Politiediensten zijn op Aruba nieuwe aanwijzingen gevonden dat Van der Sloot toch betrokken is bij de verdwijning van Natalee Holloway.
