Vista Ultimate upgrade directly from Microsoft. Yes! It's been leaked.
It works like this. Microsoft provides an option to purchase Vista online, After payment, the customer is given a download link which enables them to directly download Windows Vista from Microsoft server. (in fact MS uses a 3rd party software distributor to host the file; DigitalRiver) These download links have beeb leaked to the web and anyone can paste the links in a download manager or a web browser to begin the download of an original, untouched version of 'Vista Ultimate Upgrade'.
There are 3 files required for download:
boot.wim
install.wim
X13-49120.exe
This is the upgrade version and works only on top of a Windows 98 or XP installation (cant use a bootable CD and clean install)Download:File 1:http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent.net/01/60316070-3318705--NOA/msvista/pub/Vista_WIM/i386/boot.wimFile 2:http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent.net/01/60316070-3318705--NOA/msvista/pub/Vista_WIM/i386/install.wim File 3:http://msft-dnl.digitalrivercontent.net/01/60316070-3318705--NOA/msvista/pub/X13-49120/X13-49120.exe Install Notes 1. Put the exe and the 2 wim files in the same folder. 2. Then click on the exe. It will copy the wims to the correct folder. An installer will come up. Close it. 3. The exe will create a folder named vista. All the files (and the wims) are in there.4.
